Kenneth Porter is a freelance writer living in West Michigan. Driven by a love for creative and professional writing, Kenneth enjoys working in both fields. He attended Muskegon Community College and transferred to Grand Valley State University to pursue a BA in Writing with a split emphasis on creative and professional writing.
Creative Writing
His creative writing career led to winning the 2012 Top Cow Talent Hunt and a career in producing independent comics (Porter Comics). He also had a short story published in the 2010 LAND Writing Contest.
Professional Writing
His professional writing career started with comic book reviews on a personal website (Sequential Review) and moved into writing on staff atCosmic Book News and becoming the Social Media Director ofVisionary Comics in 2012 during their studio push for Deadlands: Raven.
